About the role The Youth Worker – Active Night Shift will actively engage in the care and support of Anangu secondary students who are undertaking their studies at Avenues College and residing at Wiltja Boarding, located in Lightsview.
The Youth Worker will contribute to positive social and educational outcomes for students, promoting a safe, supportive, and respectful boarding environment.
This role also involves participating in the planning and delivery of health, wellbeing, educational, and recreational programs for students.
Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: A professional qualification in Youth Work or an allied field Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration OPS3 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)
