About the Role
Join our transport team as a Casual Driver in the Burnie and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for delivering the Area Connect service, providing transport to job seekers and participants undertaking education and training activities.
You will safely operate Area Connect and CTST vehicles of varying sizes, work independently using our transport software 'Trips' on the in-vehicle iPad, adapting to changes to ensure efficient service delivery and passenger satisfaction.
* Maintain professional relationships with passengers, employees, and the general public at all times.
* Ensure that vehicles are always maintained in a safe operating condition including pre-departure checks and end of day procedures.
* Follow established procedures for record keeping and reporting, collecting fares when required.
* Work collaboratively with Regional and Local Coordinators to communicate feedback / seek solutions to overcome any barriers to providing an optimal service.
Key Requirements:
* A current C class (car) driver's license with a minimum 2 years driving experience and a clean driving record.
* Ancillary certification or be willing to obtain within 4 weeks of commencement.
* A Working with Vulnerable Persons Card.
* A National Police Check which meets our screening criteria.
* An Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid working visa with no restrictions on driving/transport work.
