In this role, you'll:
* Work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis and business insights to support divisional decision-making.
* Partner closely with operational leaders to drive robust budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and improved financial management.
* You will lead and coordinate end-to-end monthly financial processes, prepare detailed bottom-up financial inputs and commentary, perform reconciliations and data validation, and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
* You'll proactively manage reporting cycles, schedule and facilitate stakeholder reviews, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and elevate strategic issues to senior leaders.
This position is located at our Macquarie Park office; however, there will be flexibility to work from the offices of the supported divisions or branches. This role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation's flexible working arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at Sydney offices and approved remote working.
About You
* Your proven financial analysis and business partnering capability, formed across complex corporate or public sector environments, will see you excel in translating data into meaningful and actionable insights, leading routine financial cycles, and ensuring reporting integrity that supports confident decision-making.
* You're recognised as a trusted financial advisor and process leader, skilled at stakeholder engagement, financial modelling and reconciliation, and experienced in navigating accounting standards while continuously improving processes to deliver sustainable financial outcomes.
* You have a Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification, extensive and relevant professional experience and full professional membership (or actively progressing toward it) with either CPA Australia (CPA), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), or an equivalent.
