About the role
Are you a strategic thinker with deep expertise in procurement, contracts and government compliance? At Renewal SA, we're seeking a highly skilled Manager, Procurement and Contracts to lead and evolve our procurement and contract management functions.
In this leadership role, you will oversee a dedicated team and drive the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose procurement frameworks, policies and processes that support the delivery of high-profile urban development projects across South Australia. You'll be a trusted advisor on complex procurement and probity matters, supporting business units in achieving value-for-money outcomes while effectively managing risk.
As a key strategic leader, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensure compliance with government requirements, and maintain robust reporting and oversight mechanisms.
Strategically lead procurement and contract management across the organisation.
Oversee a team of five, fostering capability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with government procurement frameworks and probity requirements.
Develop policies, templates and tools to support commercial success and risk mitigation.
Act as the key advisor on procurement, contracts, and commercial governance matters.
Who we are looking for
We're seeking a forward-thinking professional with proven leadership in procurement and contracts, particularly in government or complex project environments.
You will have:
Extensive experience in procurement, contract management and risk mitigation.
Strong working knowledge of SA Government procurement policy and probity principles.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
A strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, law, commerce or a related field.
