Trade Assistant Job Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant to join our team in Fremantle. As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting tradespeople with various tasks, including assembly, installation, servicing, and repairs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment. You will be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and tools.
Additional responsibilities include quality checks, testing, and inspections of components, operating forklifts, lifting equipment, and hand/power tools, and supporting warehouse functions such as receiving, dispatch, and stock organisation.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and reliable and punctual attendance. A forklift licence is preferred but not required. You will also need to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
