About the opportunity
The Estimator is part of the Wilson Homes Multi-residential Projects Construction team and reports to the General Manager. The key focus of this role is to work across multiple projects to accurately determine and calculate quantities required from contract documentation and working drawings.
* Ensure the efficient and accurate production of multi-residential building estimates
* Check contract documentation for accuracy prior to release for construction
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and timeframes are achieved
* Complete quantity take-offs for building materials & labour
* Complete subcontractor and credit invoices
* Perform other associated administrative duties
About you
* Estimating experience – ideally within residential construction but not essential
* Strong planning/organising and effective workflow management skills
* Understanding of the National Construction Code
* Exceptional computer skills with a medium to advanced knowledge of Excel
* Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
* Experience in BusinessCraft and On Site Companion would be advantageous but not essential
