Position Summary:
* Perform installation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC&R, and plumbing systems
* Calibrate, inspect, and operate controls, gauges, meters, valves, fire sprinkler, and alarm systems
* Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves and other safety equipment
* Maintain and stock parts, tools, and supplies; manage inventory and purchase order logs
* Use computers to enter, track, and retrieve work-related data
* Operate power lifts and other mechanical equipment safely
* Conduct life safety checks, including fire pump and generator run tests
* Respond to repair requests promptly, ensuring effective resolution
* Assist in developing disaster response protocols and facility safety plans
* Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating maintenance staff
* Prior facility management experience is preferred
About You:
* Required technical qualifications in Electrical, HVAC&R, and Plumbing
* Experience as a technician, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Good knowledge of building maintenance practices, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and building management or maintenance software
* Strong communication skills and a respectful attitude to foster a positive, collaborative team environment
* Passionate about the industry and committed to providing excellent service
* Strong team player with leadership abilities and creative problem-solving skills
* Problem-solving skills to identify maintenance issues and coordinate timely solutions
* Capability to manage workload and deadlines effectively
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Maintenance experience and hands-on technical skills
