The Role You'll lead our Victoria sales function across 6 manufacturing sites - 4 precast, 2 pipe. You'll have up to 8 direct reports who need a leader who can teach them that sales isn't just about closing deals - it's about margin, effort, and customer value. This isn't a desk job. You'll be working with branch leadership, operations teams, and customers to drive results. You'll be challenging how we've always done things and finding better ways. What You'll Be Doing Leading a VIC sales team to exceed budget while protecting and growing margins Coaching your team on commercial fundamentals - not just 'make the sale' but 'make the right sale at the right margin' Looking at our sales processes and asking 'why do we do it this way?' - then improving them Building genuine customer relationships across councils, developers, water authorities, and civil contractors Working cross-functionally with operations to deliver what we promise, when we promise it Mentoring sales reps to think commercially - understanding costs, margins, and profitability, not just volume Developing your team's capability through coaching, not just managing their numbers Driving new business development while protecting existing accounts What We Need From You ✓ Industry credibility - You've been in civil construction materials, precast, concrete products, or building materials.
