Compliance Team Leader * Salary: $113,022 - $136,747 (Plus Superannuation) * Ongoing role * Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) * Usual work location: Traralgon (flexibility may be available) The Role Compliance Team Leaders (Team Leaders) are appointed as Authorised Officers under the Game Management Authority Act 2014 and relevant law and exercise law enforcement powers which include the enforcement of public safety legislation. The Team Leaders manage the operational delivery of high-quality community-centred game regulatory services within a state segment (Northeastern / West / Gippsland), while also contributing to state-wide service delivery. The Team The position of Compliance Team Leader forms a part of the Compliance and Intelligence branch within the Game Management Authority. The Game Management Authority (GMA) delivers programs to improve and promote sustainable and responsible game hunting in Victoria. The Compliance and Intelligence Division is responsible for improving compliance with hunting laws and regulations. About You The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: * Interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and confidently communicate with people with diverse backgrounds at all levels within the organisation and community. * Ability to establish, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and groups, including working collaboratively and demonstrate empathetic engagement with all GMA staff and partner agencies. * Highly developed interpersonal skills and sound judgement. The ability to assess situations and use knowledge, skills and experience to make appropriate and informed decisions.
