About the roleTAFE Gippsland is seeking a Casual Teacher to work in our Koorie teaching team to deliver art-related units at the Morwell campus. The role includes delivery in the Mumgu Dahl course and the Cultural Arts course. You will teach practical art techniques within a culturally informed learning environment, with cultural-specific content delivered separately.
The role involves planning, delivering and assessing high-quality vocational education, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring compliance with VET quality standards. You will work collaboratively with teaching and student support teams to support student engagement and success.
About youYou are an experienced art practitioner with a passion for teaching and supporting diverse learners. You bring strong vocational competence in art-related disciplines and are confident delivering practical, engaging training aligned with VET requirements. You are organised, adaptable and committed to maintaining both your professional teaching capability and industry currency.
The successful applicant will deliver practical art techniques and creative skills within a culturally informed learning environment. Cultural-specific content is delivered separately, and applicants are not required to identify as First Nations.
