About the Role
The Insurance & Claims Manager is a key member of the team, who are spread across multiple locations. They work collaboratively together to support various parts of operations on all Legal and Commercial matters.
This role will build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as the insurance SME within the organization and a sole initial point-of-contact throughout the operations on all insurance related queries.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a corporate insurance program;
* Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to financial forecasting;
* Managing insurance claims from notification stage through to settlement and subrogated recovery;
* Interpreting and modifying contracts specifically as they relate to insurance obligations imposed upon counterparties;

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
* Experience managing a corporate insurance program either in-house or as a client facing broker;
* Ability to travel internationally and interstate when required;
* Eligibility to obtain a Government Security Clearance (Citizenship required).
