Responsibilities
* Assist in the resolution of technical support issues for server hardware and software.
* Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server infrastructure.
* Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environment.
* Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot storage arrays and related devices.
* Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot network based services: File and Print services, Email, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS/WINS
* Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot messaging and meeting systems: conference room equipment, audio/video conferencing, etc.
* Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure VM environment.
* Perform additional tasks as requested, including but not limited to:
o data backups
o disaster recovery
o recommendation, testing and procurement of IT related hardware and software
o document systems and processes
o recommend and effect policy
* Serve as main escalation point for systems related issues
* Other duties as assigned
Other Skills and Abilities
* Working knowledge of LAN and WAN topologies and architecture.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft server, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint.
* Working knowledge of Server and PC operating systems including Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022 as well as Linux OS Redhat, CentOS, Suse Linux, and Debian
* Working knowledge of configuring and maintaining VMware and virtual environments.
* Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining all servers, storage arrays, and related equipment, including replication, mirroring, and de-duplication services.
* Experience in configuring and running Microsoft DHCP and DNS services.
* Some knowledge of IP Telephony
* Working knowledge PC hardware and components including processors, mother boards, accessories, cards, peripherals.
* Working knowledge of PC/LAN application software
* Working knowledge of IT security
* Develop effective working relationships with clients, co-workers and vendors.
* Ability to communicate with all levels of management and IT clients.
* Ability to interface with technical staff and vendors.
* Some working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and M365 licensing and suite
* Ability to navigate O365 Exchange and Azure AD
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field preferred. Industry certifications will be considered along with experience for non-degreed candidates.
* Minimum requirements: 5 – 7 years of experience providing information technology administration services in Windows environment at a Senior or equivalent level.
