About the Role The Senior Project Officer supports the implementation of the LCLHN’s strategic plan by managing, coordinating, and delivering key workforce strategy projects. This dynamic position requires a talented professional with proven expertise in project management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to shape workforce development across the region. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage large, complex projects relating to workforce strategy, from initial design through to delivery. Develop and implement communication strategies for workforce projects, producing high-quality written content for various channels. Engage and consult with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across government and non-government sectors. Analyse complex data and service planning issues, providing expert advice and innovative solutions to inform strategic objectives. Prepare and present clear and compelling reports, updates, briefings, promotional materials, and information bulletins. Support the development, delivery, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives and contribute to accreditation processes. Foster a collaborative team environment, supporting values-based practice, professionalism, and cultural safety. Skills & Experience Essential Demonstrated ability to manage, plan, and deliver complex projects within timeframes and quality standards. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to develop creative, evidence-based solutions. Experience preparing high-quality written and oral reports and submissions. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience working with HR Information Systems and recruitment platforms (such as Page Up, Chris21). Proven experience in project and workforce planning, project analysis, and implementation. Experience engaging with Aboriginal consumers and understanding of cultural diversity. Strong computing skills, including advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite. Desirable Tertiary qualification in a health or business-related discipline.
