About The RoleWithin the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, we seek a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Horsham campus. This is a full-time permanent role with flexible start dates, and part-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
The role involves travel across the Grampians region, including Horsham, Ararat, and Ballarat. The Mental Health Clinician is a key part of the Community Mental Health service, working in various community teams and possibly outside of normal hours (8.30 – 5.00).
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct biopsychosocial assessments to identify clinical presentations, family needs, and referral options.Develop, implement, review, and evaluate clinical treatment plans targeting biological, psychological, and social needs.Perform risk assessments and manage risks appropriately.Manage a caseload within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing client-centered, trauma-informed, family-inclusive, evidence-based practices.Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to clinical expertise.Skills and ExperienceMeet relevant EBA requirements for your discipline (Psychologist, OT, Social Worker, RPN).Registration with AHPRA or AASW (desirable for social workers).Experience in delivering evidence-based, family-inclusive interventions for infants and children at high risk with mental health concerns.Proficiency in current evidence-based treatment practices.Relocation AssistanceUp to $15,000 in incentives to support relocation, covering various costs. Funding is provided by the Victorian Government to attract workers to rural and regional roles, administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
