**Job Type: Casual Support Worker with flexible working hours Location: Butler.**
**Salary**: $31 to $42/hour + Penalty rates + Super.
The 26yo male customer's preference is a physically fit, youngish male, near Butler, to join his team of Disability Support Workers.
The primary role of a Disability Support Worker is to aid less fortunate individuals. They help individuals perform important basic life skills, in addition to daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, transporting individuals, similar to what people ordinarily do or their own families.
**Skills required.**
You'll need to be very caring, empathetic person who possess strong listening and oral communication skills. Patience and a passion for helping people and being a team player are also essential attributes for Disability Support Workers.
**Essential Requirements**:*
- Fluent verbal and written English is essential to this role.
- Valid drivers License, Reliable Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance.
- A reliable phone.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain.
- NDIS online Orientation Module & Induction Module or willing to complete.
- First aid and CPR or willing to obtain.
- WA Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
- Covid vaccinations or willing to obtain.

**Responsibilities**:
- Building a meaningful connection: Your primary focus will be on building a strong and trusting relationship with our customer.
- Supporting the customer in achieving their goals.
- Provide prompting and personal care when needed.
- Transport customers to social activities and appointments.
- Assist the customer and / or his carers with daily tasks like cooking, laundry, cleaning, shopping.
