What you will do as the Senior Procurement Officer
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for a range of ICT and non-ICT procurement and contract management delivery and outcomes ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement framework.
Duties Include
* Provide procurement guidance and advice to AER teams on ICT and non-ICT complex procurement and contract management in accordance with Government legislation and policy
* Facilitate procurement processes including preparing procurement documentation and managing approach to market processes
* Provide advice and assistance on contract management activities as required for day-to-day management of contracts and vendor relationship performance management, including facilitating payment of invoices
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procurement policies and processes in consultation with key stakeholders
* Develop and maintaining key relationships with internal teams, business stakeholders and external entities to continue to shape the overall delivery of services.
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
* Proven experience working in procurement in Commonwealth Entities and a strong understanding of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework
* Extensive background undertaking end-to-end procurement that includes reviewing, drafting and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts and evaluation reports
* Demonstrated Contract Management experience
* Ability to work collaboratively, to think laterally and to develop solutions to procurement issues together with excellent liaison, negotiation, and network building skills.

Salary: $99,562 - $111,590 per annum (plus 15.4% superannuation)
