Essential skills and competencies:
- Teamwork with colleagues.
- Friendly and positive personality.
- Clinical care - medication rounds, wounds care etc.
- Liaising with visiting GP's and allied health providers.
- Lead and supervise as required Carers (with some personal care duties with the team where required).
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Diploma of Nursing.
- Computer and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated practice of Hygiene and Safety practices in aged care.
- Current police check.
- Evidence of Seasonal Influenza Vaccine.
- Evidence of COVID vaccination.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
- Work experience of 2 years in Age Care.
- A good understanding of the Aged Care Standards, accreditation and ACFI requirements.
- An understanding of continuous improvement and OH&S.;
