About the Role

* Identify and engage new clients in commercial and residential construction through cold calling, site visits, research, and networking
* Ask open-ended questions to uncover client needs, pain points, project timelines, product preferences, and installation constraints
* Build and nurture long-term relationships with builders and trade clients, offering tailored solutions that meet project requirements
* Manage your sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion from first contact to order
* Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to prepare accurate proposals that align with client goals and profitability targets
* Stay across industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and confidently position RSC's unique value offerings

About you:

* You understand that great sales starts with curiosity. You enjoy asking the right questions, listening closely, and uncovering what really matters so you can shape solutions that genuinely solve problems, not just tick boxes.
* You're at your best when you're out in the field — meeting builders on site, having real conversations, and turning first meetings into trusted, long-term relationships built on credibility and follow-through.
* You genuinely enjoy the hunt. Prospecting doesn't feel like a chore to you; it's an opportunity to open doors, create momentum, and turn potential into results, driven by your natural competitiveness and desire to win.
