Graduate Mining Engineers at Westgold Resources will launch their mining careers through a comprehensive 2-year program, gaining hands-on experience across multiple mine sites in Western Australia.
Your role
Responsibilities
* Participating in a 2-year Graduate Program with tailored mentoring, technical development, and role-specific training.
* Completing rotations across Westgold's six underground mines and four processing plants in the Murchison and Southern Goldfields regions.
* Gaining practical underground experience required for the First Class Mine Managers Certificate.
* Collaborating with seasoned professionals to develop highly sought-after mining skills.
* Working an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster based in Perth.
About you
Qualifications
* Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering.
* Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
* Strong computer literacy skills.
* Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
* A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
* A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
* The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and right to work checks.
