Property and Maintenance Position
The Property and Maintenance Manager role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of presentation and function of the College buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure a safe environment for all.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a secure and healthy workplace for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and improving the function and safety of school buildings and equipment.
* Managing capital works programmes and projects.
* Providing a secure and safe environment for the College community.
* Oversight of the bus fleet and general transportation service to the College.
* Contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
* Driver's License LR or greater with a good driving record.
* Bus driver accreditation (arranged by College if not held).
* Knowledge of project management and contract management practices.
* Able to understand and operate machinery and equipment relative to building maintenance.
* General knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general trade maintenance.
* Knowledge of security procedures and emergency services.
* Staff supervision experience.
* Working With Children Check.
* Current approved first-aid qualification (arranged by College if not held).

Selection Criteria:
* Be a committed Christian with a strong passion for Biblically-based Christian education.
* Demonstrate knowledge in grounds/maintenance management and hold relevant qualifications in Facilities management and/or significant tradesman or maintenance experience.
* A proactive and positive attitude and approach to problem solving, coordination of tasks, leadership and building relationships.
* Able to lift and manipulate equipment and perform manual work.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate with high attention to detail and build and strengthen relationships with staff and external trades and contractors.
