An chance exists for an experienced Asset and Facilities Manager to join our clients team based on the Sunshine Coast. In this 'hands-on' role, you will deliver strategic asset management & maintenance plans for residential dwellings.
This full-time role requires a current **QBCC licence, Fire Safety Advisor Certificate & Workplace Health & Safety Certificate**. Our client offers an ethical, team orientated environment with a 9-day working fortnight.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Professional management of the asset management processes for the company including asset inspections
- Implementation of the strategic asset maintenance plan
- Implementation and compliance checks with Fire Safety Regulations
- Implementation and management of Workplace Health & Safety
- Managing preferred suppliers and contracting processes to support strategic asset management plan
- Contribution to planning and implementation of capital projects
- Contribution to advice and input on other outsourced corporate functions
- Contribution to property inspections (residential)
- Oversight of capital projects and asset maintenance works, to ensure they are completed to the required standard
- Managing the dwellings in a cost-effective manner to achieve long term value to the tenants, lessors and company
- Administration of housing and asset management systems
- Planned, cyclical and responsive maintenance planning, development and implementation
- Managing the allocated budget for maintenance and upgrades efficiently ensuring dwellings are appropriately maintained on a value for money basis
- Working within the organizations team in a coordinated and cooperative manner
