At EastCoast we have built a highly reputable and successful professional consultancy arm and it is due to this exciting and consistent growth that we have identified an opportunity to bring onboard another experienced, generalist Practitioner to join our team. We boast a team of forward-thinking professionals who collaborate to solve client challenges in national markets with what we believe is unrivalled peer support.
This role will involve supporting other Consultants with their current clients who are predominately based on the Sunshine Coast and throughout regional Qld as well as supporting our clients in NSW and Victoria. Each client's needs are different, and the successful Consultant will need to true generalist and be flexible and adaptable in providing support in all functions of generalist HRM such as:
Conducting and presenting results of HR audits;
Drafting, implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures;
Liaising with Clients to create and define role and responsibility statements with measurable performance criteria;
Dispute resolution and facilitation of performance management programs;
Developing, implementing and training on performance management and appraisal processes;
Conducting workplace investigations and providing mediation support;
Conducting legislative reviews for compliance against IR Legislation;
Developing and implementing employment agreements;
Researching and providing balanced people advice in alignment with clients' culture, values and risk profile;
Coaching, educating and supporting clients in the ongoing management of their newly developed HR systems and platforms.
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
Demonstrated experience as a Generalist HR Manager or Senior HR Consultant.
You will need to be able to hit the ground running as there is already an established portfolio needing specialist support however you should also have strong sales ability and sales essentials necessary in developing new client relationships.
Be capable of adapting strategy and practical knowledge to work comfortably with Executives and Executive Leadership teams at a strategic and operational level just as easily as at the coalface with small business operators from a variety of services, trades and labour industries.
Have a very practical approach to people management and HR matters.
High-level relationship management and influencing skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Well-developed knowledge of and practical experience with the relevant Australian employment legislation.
Be self-accountable, empathetic and have a genuine love of HR Management and Recruitment.
Be inclusive with strong cultural awareness.
Additional skills in Training and Development, Leadership Coaching and Psychometric Testing platforms an absolute added bonus and highly regarded.
Be well presented and responsive with a passion for client service to a consistently high standard.

Thisis a permanent full-time position.
The remuneration package includes base salary and commissions upon exceeding set KPI's.
