Role Description
Metcore Marine is seeking a Senior Boilermaker Welder for an in office position in Williamstown, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks, fabricating components, interpreting blueprints, and working with various welding techniques such as TIG welding and oxy‐acetylene. Additional duties include collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring all work meets industry safety standards, and maintaining high-quality craftsmanship in all projects.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Welding, including TIG Welding and Oxy‐acetylene techniques
* Strong skills in Blueprint Reading and interpreting technical designs
* Expertise in Metal Fabrication and structural repairs
* Experience working on marine equipment or vessels is an advantage
* Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry standards
* Formal qualifications or certifications in welding or boilermaking
* Excellent attention to detail and practical problem‐solving abilities
* Ability to work in a team-oriented, rapid‐paced setting
