Laneway Festival | Sydney (Hybrid)

Full-time, 9 month contract (July – March)

$80,000 – $85,000 p.a. equivalent + Super

Forward Talent is partnering with Laneway Festival to find a Digital & Social Manager who knows their way around a content calendar as well as they know a festival lineup.

This is a role for someone who lives and breathes social, thinks in content, and gets genuinely excited when a campaign drops. You're proactive, detail‐obsessed, and the kind of person who spots what needs doing before anyone has to ask.

You thrive when working collaboratively, and equally embrace the freedom that comes with owning your work independently.

The Role

You'll own the digital execution for one of Australia's most loved and celebrated music festivals. Instagram, TikTok, eDMs, paid media coordination - you're keeping it all moving, consistent, and performing.

Reporting to the Head of Content, you'll work closely with a small, tight‐knit team that creates something unforgettable for thousands of people every year.

What you'll be doing

* Leading platform‐specific strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and beyond
* Managing the content calendar, day‐to‐day publishing, and campaign planning across key moments: lineup drops, artist announcements, on‐sale
* Writing and distributing eDMs across AU and NZ, tracking performance and applying learnings
* Managing the media agency relationship - briefs, budgets, approvals, performance
* Driving real‐time social coverage on the ground during festival season
* Reporting on digital performance and feeding insights back into strategy

About You

This is a role for someone who takes ownership, brings ideas to the table, thrives in a small, high‐performing team and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when the moment calls for it. You're highly organised, detail‐oriented, and thrive in a fast‐moving environment.

* Proven social channel management with strong platform fluency
* Exceptional written communication - you triple-check before anything goes live
* Know your way around Monday.com, Mailchimp (or similar), Laylo (or similar), Webflow, and all GSuite applications.
* Hands‐on eDM experience, including copy, scheduling and analysis
* Comfort with performance data and translating it into action
* Experience in live events, festivals, or fast‐paced campaign environments (preferred)
