$120,529 – $164,087 plus 17% super and more

About the role
Operating within School of Education NSW/ACT – Strathfield, the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Early Childhood) is a key academic and leadership role in the National School of Education. The Lecturer or Senior Lecturer provides input into teaching innovations and curriculum development, coordinating and supervising staff. The successful applicant will contribute to research excellence at ACU, embedding current disciplinary research in the development of units, publishing in high-quality outlets, applying for research grants and/or industry consultancies, and supervising higher degree research students. Engagement in the scholarship of teaching and learning is central to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Ongoing development, delivery, coordination and assessment of units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the discipline of Early Childhood Education, in line with the school's national curricula.
Participate and contribute to the academic governance of the school in a range of administrative and advisory roles.
Actively contribute to the accreditation and review of existing programs.
Contribute to research excellence at ACU, embedding research into units, publishing, applying for grants, and supervising research students.
Lead the development and maintenance of productive and effective collaborations that are local and national, contributing to interdisciplinary connections across industry and the wider community.
