Full‐time (1.0 FTE) School Psychologist at Sir Eric Woodward Memorial School, commencing 20 July 2026.

Sydney Region – Sydney, North/North West (St Ives within the Pittwater Network).
Remuneration
Package valued up to $182,461 + incentives (where applicable). Base salary ranges from $101,122 – $160,983* plus leave loading and employer's superannuation contribution. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on professional experience. *Note there is no automatic progression to the $160,983 SPAC salary level.
Key Accountabilities
* Provides counselling and psychological services to students individually and in groups, including short‐term therapeutic interventions within training, experience and supervision limits.
* Engages with and implements the procedures of the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service.
* Works in consultation with the principal, school executive, staff and student support services to improve student learning, wellbeing outcomes and implement departmental priorities.
* Contributes to the social, emotional and academic development of students and supports those with complex behavioural needs.
* Administers cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessment of students, reports on results of assessments and collaborates to improve learning, wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
* Works collaboratively with learning and support teams, parents/carers and other agencies to develop appropriate school‐based support for students.
* Responds as part of a team to assist schools experiencing serious incidents.
* Refers students and/or their families and carers to other agencies that support the development of student health and wellbeing outcomes.
Essential Requirements
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy, Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG Inc. and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy.
* General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Valid and current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance – NSW.
* Current and valid driver's licence with ability and willingness to travel between work sites.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Sir Eric Woodward Memorial School is a School for Specific Purposes located in St Ives within the Pittwater Network. The school provides high quality teaching and learning for students K-12 with high support needs, a K-6 autism support unit and a K-12 distance education unit for students statewide. Enrolment 74 students; 46% from a non‐English speaking background; 10 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students.
