SAP IBP / APO System Analyst (Supply Chain Planning)
12-Month Contract | Enterprise Corporate Environment
We're looking for a hands‐on SAP planning system analyst to support and enhance an SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) platform within a large, complex environment.
This role will suit someone with a strong SAP APO or SAP planning support background who is either already working with IBP or is looking to transition into SAP IBP with support from an experienced IBP Platform Lead.
About the role
You'll work closely with the IBP Platform Lead and wider business stakeholders to support day‐to‐day planning operations, system stability, enhancements, testing and upgrades across SAP IBP and its integrated landscape.
This is a hands‐on system support and enhancement role — ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the system, solving real problems, and working at the intersection of SAP and supply chain planning.
What you'll be doing
* Supporting BAU operations across SAP IBP (and related planning tools)
* Investigating and resolving incidents, data issues and job failures
* Supporting and executing minor configuration changes and enhancements
* Working with integration teams across CI-DS / BTP / ECC / BW / APO
* Supporting quarterly SAP IBP upgrades and new feature releases
* Acting as a bridge between business planners and SAP technical teams
* Maintaining documentation, governance and support artefacts
* Partnering with the IBP Lead on design decisions and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
We're open on background, but strong alignment would include:
* Experience in SAP IBP or SAP APO (DP, SNP, GATP) or other SAP planning environments
* Background in SAP application support, system analysis or functional consulting
* Exposure to supply chain planning, demand & supply planning, or S&OP
* Understanding of SAP integrations and data flows
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders
Nice to have (but not essential)
* SAP IBP experience or certification
* Experience transitioning from APO → IBP
Why this role
* Opportunity to grow into SAP IBP with guidance from an experienced IBP Lead
* Large, complex enterprise environment with real planning challenges
* Hands‐on role with meaningful ownership (not just project admin)
* Strong collaboration between IT and business
* 12-month contract with potential longer‐term opportunities
Who this role is not for
* Pure SAP Finance (FI/CO) profiles
* Enterprise architects or program‐only leads
* Business planners with no SAP system experience
