Night Auditor Position Summary



We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team. As a key member of the hotel's finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions.




Job Description




* Maintain the professional financial standards of the hotel by managing end-of-day reports, ensuring accuracy, and reporting anomalies.

* Undertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reports, editing all reports to ensure accuracy and full completion.

* Investigate any discrepancies found between daily reports and takings, providing prompt resolution to ensure business continuity.

* Collaborate with the Night Manager to provide exceptional guest experiences, addressing any emergency situations that may arise.





Required Skills and Qualifications




* Pride in delivering high-quality work, with a focus on attention to detail and analytical skills.

* Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

* Familiarity with the responsibilities of other areas within the Finance Department, including budgeting and forecasting.

* Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
