With a proven track record of delivering projects that stand the test of time, we continue to grow and now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our dedicated Brisbane build team.
Responsibilities
* Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
* Be responsible for coordinating trades onsite.
* Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards.
* Co‐coordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub‐contractors carry work out safely and efficiently.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain Alder's strong reputation.
* Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
* Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.
* Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
* Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.
* Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.
About You – Skills and Experience
* 5+ years experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA).
* Relevant trade background and competencies.
* Open Builders Supervision licence issued by QBCC.
* Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
* Willingness to lead and motivate team members.
* Person who is enthusiastic, self‐motivated and quality driven.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals.
* Good computer/mobile device skills for daily use of programs & apps (e.g. Procore).
