Disability Support Worker
Location: Tweed Heads, New South Wales | Role: Casual
Are you an experienced Support Worker who wants to make a real difference?
Eternal Disability Care is seeking reliable, skilled Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to participants with complex needs in home and community settings.
What You'll Do
* Support daily living tasks including personal care, meals, and household duties
* Assist with community access, appointments, and social activities
* Follow Behaviour Support, Mealtime, and Health Management Plans
* Support participants with dignity, safety, and independence
* Complete accurate shift notes and documentation.
What You'll Bring
* Experience supporting participants with complex or high-intensity needs (SIL preferred)
* Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills
* Confidence managing challenging behaviours
* Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and participant rights
* Manual handling knowledge or experience
Essential Requirements
* National Police Check (within 6 months)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* First Aid and CPR (current)
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Legal working rights in Australia
* Working With Children Check (preferred)
