We're seeking a senior Building Designer or Architect who thrives at the intersection of architectural thinking, strategic planning, and technical delivery.
Reporting to the Lead Architect, you will lead projects from concept design through planning approval and design development. You'll own form, spatial organization, and built-form outcomes while staying actively involved in documentation and the technical resolution of your designs.
This role is ideal for an experienced Architect, Graduate Architect, or Building Designer who values collective success for clients and the business. Our client pride themselves on quality and a collaborative approach, working as a team to solve problems and move forward.

ABOUT THE POSITION
You will be responsible for strong, detailed documentation with confident proficiency in Revit. Leveraging your residential project experience, you will contribute immediately while continuing to grow your skills within the business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work autonomously within a collaborative team environment
* Produce high-quality documentation while meeting project deadlines
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
* Use Revit for design and documentation
* Create preliminary designs for new residential projects (Custom Homes $2M - $4M)
* Manage and contribute to multiple projects concurrently
* Communicate effectively with clients, taking them through the process from concept to completion
* Contribute to design development and construction documentation as required
REQUIREMENTS
* Proficiency in Revit
* Understanding of residential construction methods and codes
* Experience designing residential projects
* Experience with Development Applications (DA) and Construction Certificates (CDC) lodgements
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn
* Experience designing and managing complete design of custom homes for clients
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Strong client communication skills
* Ability to work well in a team
* Well-organised with strong attention to detail
* High level of customer service skills
