Medical Receptionist Position
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Medical Receptionist to provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for patients, manage patient records, process payments and claims, and perform general administration duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and over the phone
* Maintain confidentiality and manage patient records accurately
* Process payments, Medicare, and third-party claims efficiently
* Manage patient appointment types effectively
* Perform general administration and daily office duties
* Carry out duties as required by Doctors and Practice Manager
Requirements:
* Demonstrate a professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
* Show a high work ethic and flexibility with work hours
* Be able to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize tasks effectively
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Display strong organisational and problem-solving skills

* Show enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
Proficient computer skills are essential, with knowledge of medical software such as Best Practice being desirable.
