Job Title: Site Operations Manager

A leading Civil Engineering & Tunnelling sub-contractor has an award-winning reputation and industry-leading safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the site operates safely and efficiently, reflecting high standards.
* Maximise commercial performance of contracts.
* Produce procurement schedules and collaborate with the procurement department to ensure adequate resources.
* Continuously forecast and keep the team informed of changes, managing scope meticulously to anticipate unplanned construction costs.
* Report risks and opportunities to senior management.
* Deliver high-quality work without defects, implementing Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans according to Company procedures.
* Maintain detailed site diaries and records, driving out costs and challenging the status quo.
Requirements:
* Experience in managing Micro Tunnelling and Pipe Jacking projects within regulated environments in the UK.
* Broad civil background preferred.
* Proficient in NEC contracts, contract, and change management.
* Experienced in Design Management Programme, Risk Management, cost control, forecasting, and value assessment.
* Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* SMSTS qualification.
* Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems effectively.
* Ability to manage and deliver successful projects with minimal guidance.
