Opportunity to be an Executive Assistant to the Director of the University Centre for Rural Health based at Lismore Full time, fixed term until December 2026 Base salary $86,511 - $96,863 17% superannuation About the opportunity The University Centre for Rural Health in Lismore is seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant. The incumbent will provide professional executive support and ensures day to day operational and administrative activities are delivered in an effective manner. They will manage enquiries and correspondence and use judgement to facilitate the flow of information. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide high level professional executive support and manage the general day to day operational and administrative activity of the work area manage the executive’s calendar appointments and communications, ensuring optimal time management and logistics facilitate the flow of information on behalf of the executive, including gathering background information, drafting and circulating meeting papers, reports, presentations and providing secretariat services to select committees and groups facilitate ongoing communication with a broad range of stakeholders, proactively addressing any concerns, and collaborating with team members to continuously improve stakeholder relations plan and coordinate staff and stakeholder engagement activities such as meetings, workshops, delegations and events undertake other duties and projects appropriate within the classification level as required. About you excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with sound negotiating skills and an extraordinary level of discretion, professionalism and good judgment experience working as an executive assistant or similar administrative experience including managing an executive’s diary and travel excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioirtise workload to meet multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a high-volume environment strong problem-solving skills, the ability to use initiative, and anticipate needs or emerging issues.
