Overview
The UGL Utilities team designs, constructs and maintains critical infrastructure across the water and power sectors, ranging from wastewater treatment plants to power stations.
We design and construct the following assets: power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment plants and water pipelines.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the document control and managing Document Management systems for assigned projects.
Maintain the currency and security of all project registers and information systems in respect of correspondence, drawings, scope and design variations, quality, etc.
Issue and receive controlled copies of information.
Liaison with various stakeholders (e.g., client, design, and project groups) to ensure correct information is available.
Provide training to other employees on document management system, and correct project document procedures and standards.
Register all documentation supplied by client and subcontractors into the Document Management System.
Return reviewed documentation to vendors under cover of a transmittal using the Document Management System.
Provide overall support to project teams in the form of summary or detailed reports, advice on revision and records control.
Produce a monthly reporting which captures a list of all transmittals both in and out.
Requirements
2-3 years' experience in a similar role in a project-based environment.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Competent administration and organisational skills relating to the key responsibility areas.
Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Experience in TeamBinder and Aconex (Essential).
Expert written and verbal communication.
