Teaching Assistant for Learn to Swim Programs
About the position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate swimming instructor to join our team at Balance Mayfield Aquatics centre. Our centre provides a variety of Learn to Swim programs tailored to individual needs, starting from beginners through to competition.
Our successful applicant will demonstrate high energy and passion for teaching, showing leadership while teaching and building strong relationships with students and parents. They will accommodate students with different learning styles and requirements, using their strong communication skills to update progress and build relationships with schools and other external organisations.
Certifications required:
* Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
* First Aid
* CPR (yearly renewal)
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
In accordance with the requirement for 'Working with Children', anyone starting employment in child-related work must apply for or hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). For further information on how to apply, please refer to relevant government guidelines.
Learn to Swim Class times:
Monday - Friday: 8am-12pm // 2.30-6.30pm, Saturday & Sunday: 8am-12pm
