For more than 20 years Australasian Mining Services (AMS) has been a trusted supplier of drilling consumables across the mining, exploration, geotechnical, and waterwell sectors. We are known for delivering quality products, dependable service, and building lasting relationships with our clients.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to lead our Underground Rocktools Division as we continue to diversify the AMS product offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to grow our underground rocktools division.
* Monitor market activity and identify new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships at an executive and business owner level.
* Coordinate on-site product trials and manage tender processes.
* Travel regularly to engage with customers and support field operations.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You will have a professional approach, enjoy working collaboratively in a small team environment, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to your work. In addition, you will need:
* Extensive experience in a technical sales role, ideally in underground drilling.
* The ability to strategically plan and execute a sales business plan.
* Strong knowledge of Top-Hole Hammer consumables.
* Stock management experience to ensure consistent supply.
* An understanding of CRM systems and the importance of maintaining customer and industry details.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software packages for placing and processing customer orders.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and results driven.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety.
* Current valid Australian driver's licence.
