Overview

Are you a highly organised Legal Secretary with a proactive mindset and a passion for supporting high-performing teams? We’re looking for a confident and experienced professional to join our Perth office, working closely with lawyers and Partners to deliver seamless legal and personal assistant support.

The role

As an integral part of the team, your ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and keep things running smoothly cement you as the go-to person.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Managing diaries, travel bookings, expenses, and inboxes with precision and foresight
- Drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and handling document production
- Supporting matter administration, client onboarding, and compliance checks
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with billing, reporting, and financial administration using Aderant
- Collaborating on client-facing materials and business development activities
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a supportive team culture
- Assisting across the APAC offices to ensure seamless coverage and support

Please note that this is a full-time role in the office.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will bring:

- 3-6 years’ experience in a Legal PA or Legal Secretary role
- Experience supporting Partners within a busy practice
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and a keen understanding of tech
- A proactive mindset and confidence to use your initiative
- The ability to work in the office fulltime
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Previous billing experience with a familiarity with practice management systems like Aderant, iTimeKeep, and Emburse
