Volunteers are required for Broome's aged care residential facility, Germanus Kent. The positions are structured around providing social support to residents from a range of backgrounds. This is particularly valuable for residents who may experience more social isolation due to various reasons such as minimal visitations from the external community.
Volunteer Roles
* Social visits in a 1-1 setting or in a group setting
* Supporting planned group activities
* Pastoral care volunteering
* More specific roles such as reading or playing games
Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Police Clearance
* Flu Vaccination (every 12 months)
* Covid‐19 vaccinations (at least 2 doses)
Onsite induction and training will be provided.
