Job Description
About the role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities and assist in ensuring accurate financial reporting across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to build on their accounting experience in a supportive and fast‑paced environment.
This role is based in our Canberra Office, located in Braddon, ACT.
Responsibilities
* Support month-end and reporting processes
* Assist with journals, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
* Provide support across accounts payable and receivable functions
* Help prepare financial reports and management information
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
* Assist with end‑to‑end Payroll functions
Desired Skills and Experience
Role requirements
* Studying or qualified in Accounting or Finance (or similar)
* Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
* Proficient with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar)
* A strong communicator with good attention to detail
* Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team
