Project Engineer Position
The role of a Project Engineer is crucial in the success of offshore construction projects. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge and experience in Marine Operations to support project lifecycle stages, from early engagement to project close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate all work for compliance with Health, Safety, & Environment policies.
* Recommend technical and drawing modifications for safer installation procedures.
* Develop or review mobilization and readiness plans for offshore transportation.
* Review project drawings and documents, reporting discrepancies.
* Prepare installation procedures, outlining methods, sequences, and required aids.
* Participate in Job Safety Analyses and implement control measures.
* Ensure work scope matches equipment capabilities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, subsea, ocean, petroleum, energy, or chemical).
* 2-7 years of offshore industry experience.
* Familiarity with project execution practices and offshore operations.
* Knowledge of offshore construction methods such as pipelay, structure installation, etc.
* Proficiency with project planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Understanding of engineering principles, drawings, and standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality.
