Warehouse Operator: Join Our Client's Dynamic Warehouse Team
Are you a skilled and reliable warehouse operator with a passion for efficiency and a forklift license in hand? Then we want you Our Client are leaders in Livestock Nutrition with a Warehouse based in Bendigo and they are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing warehouse team.
As a Warehouse Operator, you'll be a vital part of their operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our facility. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, playing a key role in maintaining a safe and organized environment.
What You'll Do:
* Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials throughout the warehouse.
* Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
* Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
* Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
* Collaborate: Work effectively with other team members to achieve common goals.
* Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
What You'll Need:
* Valid Forklift Certification: A current and valid forklift operator's license is essential.
* Current HR Drivers licence is an advantage.
* Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
* Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 25kg)
* Attention to Detail: Must be accurate and meticulous in all tasks.
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
* Reliability and Punctuality: Must be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Bonus Points:
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
