Commercial Manager
**Commercial Manager (4x)**

**How will I help?**
Sitting within the Customer & Corporate Services, Group Procurement, The Commercial Manager is responsible for optimising Westpac's relationship with their strategic partners and technology suppliers. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end procurement strategy by meeting the objectives and contractual delivery of products/services to the business, leading sourcing strategies in compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
In your role, you will support the Head of Procurement and the Business Technology Solutions team to deliver on Group Procurement objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Negotiate and manage IT contracts in accordance with Westpac's principles and processes.
- Execute a sourcing strategy, standards, methods, and processes to ensure compliance with legislation and regulation.
- Actively support and engage with internal stakeholders and external experts to ensure continuous improvements of commercial outcomes identified through review and benchmarking processes.

**What do I need?**
- A background in IT procurement including negotiating and managing large contracts, senior stakeholders, and supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing sourcing strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and draw conclusions from data.
- Experience negotiating outcomes either working for a supplier or end customer like Westpac.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of stakeholder engagement, flexibility, and people management.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to further develop your IT procurement skills.
- A tertiary qualification in IT business management or legal studies is desired but not essential.
- Procurement experience across technology (desirable)
