Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our Medical Oncology/ Palliative Care Ward. The ward predominately cares for oncology patients and patients requiring end of life care. Our staff strive to provide evidence-based and patient-centred care. We are looking for Registered Nurses who are eager to join our supportive and caring team, focused on patient-centred care while fostering a strong team culture.
To be successful:
* Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
* Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 1 to 2 years in an Acute hospital setting experience is essential
* Solid clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
* Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
* Flexibility with shift allocations and the commitment to work a rotating roster. We offer 12 hour shifts.

Your salary will be based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
