Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

* Oversee mechanical design and technical assessments for assigned debottlenecking modification projects, including piping, pressure equipment, rotating machinery, and mechanical packages.
* Review and approve mechanical related engineering deliverables such as datasheets, equipment specifications, layout drawings, tie-in details, and calculations.
* Evaluate all mechanical designs against relevant Australian Standards, TLK engineering practices, and operational requirements.
* Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams (process, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated design outcomes.
* Support procurement through preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of vendor submissions, and review of vendor documentation.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required. A minimum of eight years' experience in mechanical engineering roles, including brownfield and project-based work in resource or chemical processing industries, is also necessary.
