**The Role**
- Planning, coordination and governance
- Project management
- Program management and policy delivery.
This is a strategically important role where you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team contributing to the DEWR's commitment for a national leadership on governance, networks and collaboration.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Report to the Team Leader, oversee the governance framework and delivery including project artefacts, meeting documents, status reports, briefing and minutes.
- High levels of administrative and organisational capabilities. Prepare documentations and reports, support secretariat processes and maintain record-keeping requirements.
- Produce high quality work and the provision of accurate advice with broad guidance. Provision of advice, interpretation and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in specific area.
- Undertake activities to develop and maintain extensive and accurate knowledge and expertise in the department's governance framework and project management. Conduct research, analyse and integrate technical information.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive information in accordance with government security requirements.
- Ensure the policies and operational documents are promoted and maintained.
**Qualifications and Education**
- Appropriate qualification in project management is desirable.
- Experience in managing secretariat, project governance and monitoring.
