Senior Application Specialist - Technical Services

Reporting to the Project Manager – Rental & Safety Services, the Senior Application Specialist will work in a hybrid capacity across our Balcatta office in Perth, WA and the field. This role supports our Rental & Safety Services (RSS) operations through a mix of on-site service and project delivery, technical support, and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
* Lead and deliver RSS field operations and projects to ensure high-quality service outcomes;
* Represent the team in client strategy and planning discussions as required;
* Provide comprehensive documentation, including performance records, cost analysis, and project progress for KPI tracking and improvement opportunities;
* Deliver specialised technical support to maximise customer uptime by resolving issues efficiently;
* Undertake the maintenance, repair, and testing of safety products and equipment to ensure they adhere to relevant standards and customer requirements;
* Lead quality assurance efforts and promote continuous improvement in processes and practices;
* The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as dictated by project needs. Additionally, the position involves short term travel and working away from home for deployments, sometimes on short notice;
* Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:
* Relevant trade or technical qualification; advanced certifications preferred;
* 4+ years in a senior technical or customer-facing role;
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, PointOut and CRM;
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to identify and resolve customer needs;
* Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring capabilities;
* Experienced working under pressure and organising work priorities to achieve deadlines;
* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
* Comprehensive knowledge of the products & services of Draeger Safety;
A Police Check will be required for this position.
