Salt Shift and JetTech are not average eCommerce brands.

We build products for people who actually use their gear, push it hard, and care about keeping it in peak condition. Across both brands, we sit in that sweet spot between performance, lifestyle, and utility, and we are now ready to materially level up our creative output.

We're looking for a hands‐on Performance Creative Lead to help drive that next stage of growth.

This is a senior role for someone who can do more than just make content. The role is designed to be roughly 50% strategy and leadership and 50% hands‐on execution in the tools, with a strong emphasis on shooting, shaping, and helping drive output. You will help shape what gets made, why it matters, and how it should perform. You'll work in close conjunction with our Head of Digital, who oversees media buying, placements, performance reporting, and testing feedback, to turn performance insights into stronger creative output, faster iteration, and a more effective production engine.

You will also be supported by a wider team around you. Our Marketing Coordinator will help keep workflow, priorities, deadlines, and approvals moving. Our Short‐Form Video Editor will help turn concepts and raw footage into a higher volume of polished, testable assets. Our Graphic Designer will support the development of statics, layouts, and other brand and campaign assets. This role is not expected to operate in isolation. It is designed to lead the creative process in conjunction with a strong support team.

This role sits at the intersection of:

* Customer psychology
* Performance ad strategy
* Hands‐on production
* Testing and iteration

You should be equally comfortable researching angles, writing hooks and briefs, briefing UGC, directing shoots, capturing content yourself, shaping edit direction, editing where needed, and helping decide what gets made next.

How This Role Is Supported

* Head of Digital: Media buying, placements, performance reporting, and testing feedback.
* Marketing Coordinator: Workflow, priorities, timelines, follow‐up, and approvals.
* Short‐Form Video Editor: Editing, cutdowns, variations, retests, and faster asset throughput.
* Graphic Designer: Statics, layouts, design support, and other campaign‐ready visual assets.

This role leads the creative process, but does so with support from the team around it. It is not a pure manager role. It is a hybrid role for someone who wants to lead the thinking while still being very hands‐on in the work.

What You'll Own

Paid Creative Ownership

* Own the end‐to‐end development of paid creative from ideation through to final output and iteration.
* Own creative performance inputs across paid channels, with a direct impact on ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, and revenue.
* Translate customer insights, objections, and buying triggers into high‐converting hooks, angles, scripts, concepts, and briefs.
* Identify winning creatives and systematically scale them through new variations, formats, edits, statics, and iterations.
* Work closely with the Head of Digital to interpret performance data and turn learnings into the next round of creative production.
* Build and manage a scalable UGC engine across creators, briefs, and content output.
* Develop repeatable, high‐performing content formats across testimonial, problem‐solution, demo, founder‐led, social proof, and other key ad styles.
* Write clear UGC briefs and direct creators or internal talent to produce commercially useful content.
* Produce lo‐fi and mid‐fi short‐form content optimised for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
* Continuously refine UGC based on performance data to improve engagement, trust, and conversion.

In‐House Production & Creative Execution

This role is expected to stay highly hands‐on in the tools. While it leads the creative process, it should still be actively shooting, shaping, and editing where needed rather than only directing from above.

* Lead end‐to‐end content creation from research and concepting through to shooting, edit direction, final output, and iteration.
* Capture short‐form, product, lifestyle, founder‐led, and brand content using fast, agile production setups.
* Shoot more polished creative where needed for YouTube, website, packaging, and broader brand touchpoints.
* Shoot product and brand imagery to a strong commercial standard for website, eCommerce, packaging, and key campaign assets.
* Direct shoots and work closely with internal or external editors, designers, and the broader team to scale output efficiently.
* Shape edit structure and direct how content should be cut, versioned, and improved.
* Maintain a structured, campaign‐ready asset library for ongoing iteration and reuse.

Creative Testing & Performance Optimisation

* Own the creative testing roadmap, including what gets tested, why, and how success is measured.
* Establish a fast, consistent testing cadence across hooks, angles, formats, offers, and creative types.
* Analyse creative performance and translate insights into clear next iterations.
* Work in close conjunction with the Head of Digital to align creative strategy with media performance, testing priorities, and business goals.
* Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, competitor activity, and creative best practices to maximise content effectiveness.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You

* Have experience creating paid social creative for eCommerce or DTC brands.
* Can think strategically and execute practically.
* Are confident researching angles and writing hooks, briefs, scripts, UGC directions, and statics.
* Can direct shoots and capture content yourself when needed.
* Can shoot and shape short‐form content.
* Can direct and capture more polished YouTube or brand content when needed.
* Can shoot product and brand imagery to a strong commercial standard.
* Are comfortable directing editors and shaping outputs, not just making assets yourself.
* Understand direct response and performance creative.
* Have experience leading others to make ads.
* Move quickly and care deeply about testing, iteration, and outcomes.
