Weighbridge Operator – Waste Industry
Altona, VIC
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Weighbridge Operator to join a busy waste management facility based in Altona.
This opportunity is flexible and can be offered as either:
- Full-time position with overtime available
About The Role
As the first point of contact on site, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of vehicles entering and exiting the facility.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Operating the weighbridge system to record vehicle weights
- Managing inbound and outbound truck movements
- Data entry and processing dockets accurately
- Providing excellent customer service to drivers and site visitors
- Handling general administrative duties
- Ensuring compliance with site procedures and safety standards
About You
- Previous experience in a weighbridge, logistics, or admin role (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using computer systems and data entry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
- Reliable and punctual
