Job Description
We are expanding our team in Ryde and surrounding suburbs! We would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join us in making a positive impact in our community.
We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists of all experience levels seeking full-time or part-time roles.
Responsibilities
- Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functioning and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate individualized treatment goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Support and advise on environmental adaptations, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommend assistive technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and open to testing and learning new ideas.
- Desire to work in a fun, team-oriented, and supportive environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
